Vin was addicted to pornography, lying and was a very selfish angry police officer. He had dealt with racist thoughts. His wife wanted a divorce. He had very suicidal thoughts. He was considering a suicide plan. He thought God would look at his heroic actions as a cop and let the bad slide. He found out his thinking and view of God was all wrong.
